Small Antique Wash Wicker Rectangular Log Basket

Woven from full antique wash willow, this rectangular log basket combines a tall body with an overhead handle and removable hessian lining. Decorative woven bows add a charming detail to the sides, while the pale finish brings out the texture of the willow.

Keep a supply of kindling gathered beside the hearth, or use the basket for rolled textiles and other household belongings. Its upright shape sits particularly well beside a console or armchair, adding rustic elegance without the broad footprint of a larger log basket.

Key Features

Full willow construction: Natural woven texture throughout.
Antique wash finish: Pale tones with a weathered appearance.
Removable hessian lining: Separates the contents from the weave.
Overhead handle: Gives the tall basket a distinctive silhouette.
Woven bow details: Decorative touches on the long sides.

How should I position it beside a fireplace?

Keep it clear of flames, sparks and hot stove surfaces, following the clearance guidance for your fire or stove. Willow and hessian are combustible materials.

How can I remove loose bark from the basket?

Empty the contents, lift out the hessian lining and shake out accumulated debris separately. The removable lining lets you reach the inside without working around it.

What should I check before using it in an alcove?

Measure the available space at its narrowest point, including skirting boards. Allow room around the upper body and handle so you can reach the contents and move the basket comfortably.
