Double Steamed Wicker Bicycle Basket
This wicker bicycle basket is a D-shaped front bike basket woven from full double steamed willow, fixed to the handlebars by two dark brown leather straps 25 cm long. It measures 44 x 37 cm and is 29 cm deep, weighing 800 g empty. It carries shopping, a bag or a jacket on the ride home.
Each strap buckles through an eyelet, and its 25 cm length sets the handlebar it will reach round. At 29 cm deep it is 6 cm deeper than our Small Wicker Bicycle Basket, which is 36 x 31 x 23 cm and 600 g.

FAQs
What will the 25 cm straps reach round?
The strap length is the limit rather than the basket. Each one is 25 cm, so measure the loop your bar and stem would need. If it is close, send us the figure and we will check a basket against it.
Does it need a bracket or any tools?
No. The two straps, buckles and eyelets are the whole fixing. Nothing is drilled and nothing is clamped.
How wide is the bottom of the basket?
We publish one for the small bike basket, 29 x 24 cm, but not for this size. Email us and we will measure the bottom of one for you.
Does it work as a basket off the bike?
Yes. It is D-shaped with a flat back, so once the straps are unbuckled it sits against a wall or a shelf at 44 x 37 cm and 29 cm deep.
