This swing handle shopper is a buff wicker shopping basket woven from full buff willow around galvanised metal hoops, in three sizes: 33 x 28 cm, 41 x 30 cm and 45 x 39 cm. Unlined they weigh 350 g, 500 g and 800 g, and they take a market shop or a farm shop display.

All three sizes are 18 cm deep, so what changes between them is floor area rather than how far down you reach. The handle pivots on the galvanised hoops set into the rim and drops flat against either side when it is let go. Linings are a paid option in garden rose or red and white check, with white on the medium and large.

How tall is it with the handle raised?

We have not published a figure, because a swing handle sits wherever it is left rather than at a fixed height. If you need the raised height for a shelf or a stand, email us and we will measure the size you want before you order.

Are the linings fitted or loose?

Loose. They drop into the basket and lift back out, which is why a lined basket weighs 50 g to 150 g more than the same basket unlined. Cotton and polyester, in garden rose, red and white check, or white on the two larger sizes.

Which stand fits which size?

One for one. Our Superior Small Swing Handle Shopper Stand takes the small, the medium stand the medium and the large stand the large. They are sold separately from the baskets.

Same build and the same three footprints, on the same galvanised hoops. This one is buff willow left in its natural honey colour; that one is full and split willow under white paint.
