This square grey rattan log basket is an unlined kubu rattan storage basket with a rope handle on two sides. Three sizes are made: 33 x 33 x 34 cm at 1.7 kg, 44 x 44 x 40 cm at 2.5 kg and 52 x 52 x 45 cm at 4.2 kg, taking logs, boots, sports kit or folded bedding.

No lining is fitted to any size, so there is no fabric to catch on bark and nothing to take out before brushing the inside down. The three sizes are made to stack inside one another when empty. Our Square Lined Wicker Log Basket covers the same 33 x 33 cm footprint in willow with hessian.

FAQs

Is there a lining in any of the sizes?

No. All three are sold bare. If you want a lined square basket, our Square Lined Wicker Log Basket is hessian lined in both of its sizes.

Do the three sizes nest?

They are made to stack when empty, but we would not promise a flush nest without measuring a set. Ask us and we will stack three and give you the height.

What keeps the corners square?

The rattan is woven over an upright at each corner, which carries the shape down to the base. Loaded evenly, the sides stay square.

Will bark mark an unlined basket?

Bark and grit sit in the weave rather than on fabric, and come out with a stiff dry brush. Nothing has to be lifted out first.
