How many people does it seat?

Two with room to spare. Four will fit round the edges, but 142 x 117 cm leaves little space in the middle once the food is down. For four, our Cream Polar Fleece Picnic Rug is bigger at 150 x 140 cm.

How waterproof is the backing?

It keeps ground damp from coming through while you are sitting on it. It is a picnic rug rather than a groundsheet, so on properly wet grass expect it to hold for a sitting, not all day.

How does it pack away?

It folds into a case built into the blanket itself, with a handle on top. Nothing separate to lose, and it stays flat enough to live in a car boot.

Can I use it indoors?

The fleece face is soft enough for a sofa or the end of a bed. The PVC back is the giveaway that it was made for grass, so most people keep it for outdoors.
