This soft-sided picnic cooler is made from a cotton and polyester blend woven to look like tweed in blue. Two zips run the length of the top, and the carry handle is sewn into the lid rather than stitched on the outside, so nothing catches as it goes in beside plates.

The shape is wide and shallow rather than upright, which suits the base of a hamper or the flat of a car boot. Pack drinks, cold meats and salads in it, chilled beforehand, for a picnic, a beach or a match.

We have not published a figure, because it depends on what you pack, how cold it starts and where you leave it standing. Email us and we will tell you what our own testing shows before you order.

Which of the two tweed sizes do I want?

This one if you are feeding more than two, or if you want it to lie flat in the base of a hamper. The 26 x 17 x 16 cm small is the one for a lunch for two.

Is it the same bag as the Ravenstor?

What is the lining made of?
