Which size should I choose?

The small at 50 cm tall suits one or two people, or a bathroom where floor space is tight. The large at 60 cm takes a family's washing. The set gives you one of each, which is how most households split lights and darks.

How is this different from your corner laundry basket?

Shape. This one is a full round and stands anywhere; the corner basket is a quarter-round built to fill the corner of a room. The corner version has a hinged lid, this one a lift-off lid with its own handle.

Does the lining come out?

Yes, in all sizes. It lifts out and washes, then goes back once it is fully dry.

Does the lid stay on when it is carried?

It is a lift-off lid rather than a hinged one, so it sits on rather than fastening. Carry the basket by the integral handles in the body and keep the lid level.
