Red twisted paper is woven over a metal frame to make this rectangular tray, with an even red right across it and no lid. It comes in three sizes, sold singly or as a set of all three.

Paper is soft under the hand and will not splinter, which suits a child's room: toys, books and craft kit go in. They also hold wool, magazines and remotes in a living room. Keep them dry, as wetted paper cord loses its stiffness for good.

Does the red rub off on hands or fabric?

We have had no reports of it, but we have not run a rub test either. If you are putting the tray on a pale carpet or against light upholstery, give it a wipe with a dry cloth first and check.

How does paper rope hold up against willow?

It is softer under the hand and will not splinter, which suits a child's room. It is also the one material here that must stay dry, since a wetted paper cord does not recover its stiffness.

Which size for a shelf under a coffee table?

Measure the clear height first. The medium needs 10 cm, the large 12 cm and the extra large 14 cm, plus enough to lift the tray out over the lip.
