Can I stand a plant pot in it?

Yes, on a saucer. There is no liner in this tray and the weave is open, so a pot watered in place will drip straight through onto whatever is underneath.

What is light steaming?

The willow are steamed for a shorter run than double steamed willow, with the bark on. The tannins colour the wood as it goes, and a light steam stops at a pale golden brown.

Is 10 cm deep enough to stop things rolling out?

For keys, coins, a phone and a wallet, comfortably. A 10 cm side is taller than most round trays this size, which tend to sit nearer 5 or 6 cm.

How does it compare with your Split Willow Round Tray?
