Natural Materials Note: Slight variations in colour, texture and dimensions are characteristic of woven water hyacinth. Allow approximately ±5% dimensional tolerance.

Are the heart-shaped cut-outs decorative or functional?

The heart-shaped openings serve as integrated handholds as well as decorative details. They allow the basket to be gripped when moving it around the home. The openings are incorporated into the woven construction rather than being separate handles attached afterwards.

Is this basket suitable for shelving units?

Its shallow rectangular shape makes it useful for organising items on suitable shelves and inside cupboards. Measure the available width, depth and height before ordering, allowing additional clearance to lift the basket out comfortably.

Can I use the basket for organising children's belongings?

It can be used for suitable toys, craft materials and other lightweight accessories. Keep the basket in a stable position and avoid overloading it. For very small or delicate items, an additional fabric liner may help prevent objects from catching against the weave.

How does the metal framework help the basket?

The framework supports the natural fibres and helps maintain the rectangular shape. This is particularly useful where the basket is frequently moved or placed into a shelving unit, as the sides retain their overall structure.

How should I clean water hyacinth?

Brush away dust or use a vacuum attachment on a low setting. For minor marks, wipe lightly with a damp cloth and allow the fibres to dry thoroughly. Avoid soaking the basket.
