This antique wash storage cube is a single willow basket measuring 33 x 35 x 32 cm and weighing 1.1 kg, with a handle woven into each side. It is unlined, in one size, and finished in full antique wash willow. The cube shape lets two or more stand shoulder to shoulder on a shelf, and it takes throws, wellington boots, newspapers or a floor pile of toys.

Stood next to our square antique wash storage baskets, this one is 32 cm tall against their 20 and 23 cm. The antique wash takes the golden tone out of the willow and leaves it closer to a soft grey brown. Nothing lines it, so the inside face shows the weave.

Will it go into a 33 cm cube shelf opening?

It is 33 x 35 cm, so it depends which way round the opening measures and how the frame is built. Send us the internal width and height of your unit and we will tell you before you order.

Is there a lined version of this basket?

Not on this one. If you want willow with a fabric liner in a similar shape, the Antique Wash Square Wicker Basket range is offered with a white cotton lining.

How does it differ from the Double Steamed Wicker Cube Storage Basket?

Only the finish. Both are 33 x 35 x 32 cm and 1.1 kg. This one is antique wash, a soft grey brown. The other is double steamed, a warm golden brown.

Is it useful in a hallway?

It is 32 cm deep, which is enough to stand a pair of wellingtons in without them folding over. People also use it under a console table for gloves, dog leads and post.
