A low wooden block with two round recesses holding a pair of stainless steel bowls. The bowls lift straight out for washing, and the wood around them wipes down. One size, both bowls included.

Food in one bowl and water in the second, side by side instead of two loose dishes travelling across the floor as a dog pushes at them. The block sits low, which suits small and medium dogs; a tall breed will be stooping to reach it and does better on a raised stand. The bowls go in a dishwasher; the housing is wiped.

FAQs

What size dog is it for?

Small to medium. The bowls sit 8.5 cm off the floor, which is a comfortable height for a spaniel or a terrier. A tall breed such as a labrador or a retriever will be reaching down for it, and those dogs are usually better on a raised stand.

How much does each bowl hold?

Each is 16.5 cm across and 6 cm deep. That is a standard mid-size dog bowl: a full meal for a small or medium dog, or water for the day.

Can the bowls go in the dishwasher?

They are stainless steel and lift out, so yes. Wipe the wooden housing rather than soaking it, and let it dry before the bowls go back in.

Will it slide on a hard floor?

Less than loose bowls will, because the weight of the block and the bowls together is spread across 44 cm. On polished tile a mat underneath still helps.
