These heat shrinkable cellophane bags come fifty to a pack, 40 x 47 cm with a 25 cm gusset, 250 g for the pack. They wrap a made-up gift hamper so the contents stay in place and clean in transit, and they fit most of our small hampers, shoppers, trugs and packing trays.

Load the basket, drop the bag over it and run a hairdryer round the outside. The cellophane pulls in tight against the willow and holds the contents where you put them. A little heat is all it takes, and the wrap cuts off cleanly when the hamper is opened rather than tearing into pieces.

Do I need a heat gun?

A hairdryer is enough and is what most people use. Keep it moving and work round the outside rather than holding it in one place, and stop as soon as the film has pulled tight.

Which of your baskets will it fit?

At 40 x 47 cm with a 25 cm gusset it goes over our 14 inch hampers, the smaller shoppers and trugs, and the packing trays. For an 18 inch hamper or anything larger, measure the basket first and allow for the gather at the top.

How does the recipient get it off?

A cut with scissors and it comes away in one piece. It is not a wrap that has to be picked off in fragments.

Can it be recycled?

It is supplied to us as cellophane, and we have not had it independently tested, so we would rather you checked with your local recycling than take a claim from us. If the answer matters for your own packaging labelling, ask us and we will go back to the supplier.
