Our 28" Rope Handled Trunk is a versatile and rustic storage solution for your home. Made from a full, buff willow, this trunk has an attached rope handle which skirts around the edge of the basket making it very easy to carry for 1 or 2 people. The lid is attached with 2 real leather buckles securing it in place and adding a traditional theme to the piece. 

The process of basket weaving with willow is naturally sustainable due to the relatively quick growth of the plant fibres. The artisans use traditional weaving methods and techniques to create highly decorative, but durable, pieces.
