A cube in full antique wash willow, one size, unlined, with a handle woven into each side. The wash takes the golden tone out of the willow and leaves a soft grey brown, and since nothing lines it the weave shows inside as well as out.

Square sides let two or more stand shoulder to shoulder along a shelf or under a bench with no wasted space between them. It is deep enough for wellingtons to stand up in a hallway, and takes folded throws, newspapers or a floor pile of toys.

FAQs

Will it go into a 33 cm cube shelf opening?

It is 33 x 35 cm, so it depends which way round the opening measures and how the frame is built. Send us the internal width and height of your unit and we will tell you before you order.

Is there a lined version of this basket?

Not on this one. If you want willow with a fabric liner in a similar shape, the Antique Wash Square Wicker Basket range is offered with a white cotton lining.

How does it differ from the Double Steamed Wicker Cube Storage Basket?

Only the finish. Both are 33 x 35 x 32 cm and 1.1 kg. This one is antique wash, a soft grey brown. The other is double steamed, a warm golden brown.

Is it useful in a hallway?

It is 32 cm deep, which is enough to stand a pair of wellingtons in without them folding over. People also use it under a console table for gloves, dog leads and post.
