Will a bin liner fit inside?

A standard 4 to 5 litre pedal bin liner sits in it, though the top of the bag will show over the rim. Email us if you want one measured against a particular liner.

Is it suitable for kitchen or food waste?

No. Seagrass is unsealed and will absorb anything wet or greasy. Keep it to paper, packaging and dry waste, or use it for storage instead.

What holds the round shape?

A metal frame inside the weave. It is the same construction as our seagrass trays, drawn tall instead of flat.

Does the base have feet?

The base is woven seagrass with no feet or studs. On a polished floor, sit it on a felt pad or a rug if it is going to be moved about often.
