This bathroom holder is a narrow round column of full antique wash finish willow, standing upright on the floor or beside a basin. A lift-off lid closes the top, and the carrying handle sits on the lid rather than the body.

Three spare rolls stand inside, which keeps them off the floor and out of sight next to a toilet or in a cloakroom. Dust the weave with a dry brush or a vacuum on its soft head; washing it swells the willow and lifts the colour.

What does full antique wash mean?

Full means full lengths of willow rather than split lengths, so the willow is woven round as it grew. Antique wash is the brown-toned colour laid over it.

Does the lid lift off or hinge?

It lifts off. The lid is detached, with the handle fixed to the lid rather than to the body.
