Light steaming brings this round willow waste bin to a warm golden brown and leaves the weave plain to see. It has no lid, and the inside is bare willow, the same as the outside. One size.

It is as tall as it is wide, so it holds more than a small desk bin while taking up little floor. Most people drop a standard liner in and fold it over the rim, because bare willow is not a surface you can wipe out. It works beside a desk, in a bedroom, or in a bathroom away from direct splash.

• Light steamed willow, warm golden brown
• 28 cm across, 28 cm tall
• 300 g, so it lifts and empties one-handed
• Roughly 17 litres, calculated rather than measured
• No lid, no lining: bare willow inside
• Studies, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms

Please be aware, colours may vary slightly as our products are made from natural materials.

FAQs

How much does it hold?

About 17 litres on our own calculation from the 28 cm measurements, which we have not checked against a filled bin. For comparison, a standard kitchen pedal bin is 30 litres and a desk bin nearer 10.

Will a bin liner fit?

A standard swing bin liner goes in with plenty to fold over the rim. Most people use one, because bare willow is not a surface you want to wipe out.

Is it lined?

No, it is open willow inside and out. That keeps it light at 300 g and keeps the weave visible, which is the point of buying a willow bin rather than a plastic one.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes, away from direct splash. Willow copes with a humid room perfectly well; what it does not want is standing water in the base, so use a liner if anything wet goes in.
